Bill H. first came to MediLodge of Livingston on March 21 on a ventilator. Our therapy department worked with him every day. Bill got to know all our therapists: physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy & (most of all) respiratory therapy. Bill graduated from the vent hall to the trach-care area in May. From there, Bill moved to our skilled nursing hall in October when his trach was removed. When asked about our staff, Bill said, “I’ve had them all, and they are all wonderful. This includes everyone, the therapist, and the nursing assistants and the nurses.” According to Bill, “everyone has been very friendly and encouraging. Recently as I walk the halls, all the staff calls me by name!” We will miss Bill – but we are happy to see him able to return home with his family! #MediLodgeStrong
